Torrie was brought to us from a
neglectful situation in Virginia.
A local family found out about Torrie and asked if we could take her
in and find her a loving forever home.
Torrie was born with a deformity on her left front leg- her wrist is
bent backwards. This means that
she walks on her wrist. She is
fine so long as she has nice, plush carpet to walk on. This is a must for her forever
home! Because
of the condition that Torrie was in when she came to us, we thought that her
leg might have to be amputated.
However, with some TLC, a better living condition, and frequent nail
trims, her sores have healed. From
day one, Torrie has been nothing but a sweet loving cat, with an extremely
affectionate and playful personality.
All of the volunteers loved Torrie for her beauty and personality the
instant they met her! Torrie
has never found an enemy in another cat and even helped us take care of an
orphan kitten who had been hit by a car. Before coming to live at CARS, her home in Virginia also
had a lot of dogs on the property, so she should be fine in a forever home
with dogs as well. Would
